By downloading, installing, or using PremedJournal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
PremedJournal is a journaling and application-preparation tool designed for pre-medical students. The App provides features including journal entry tracking, AAMC competency analysis, activity and hours tracking, and AI-assisted personal statement drafting.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PremedJournal. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials used to access the App. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Important: The AI-generated content produced by PremedJournal — including competency analyses, personal statement drafts, AMCAS descriptions, and CV bullets — is generated by an AI model and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not reflect your actual experiences.
PremedJournal offers optional Premium subscriptions. Premium features are billed through the Apple App Store. All billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Unused portions of free trials are forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by PremedJournal. Your journal entries and personal data remain your property. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service.
AI-generated outputs are provided as drafting assistance. You own any content you create using these outputs, subject to Anthropic's terms of service.
PremedJournal is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), the Texas Medical and Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS), or any medical school, application service, or governing body.
"AAMC," "AMCAS," "AACOMAS," "TMDSAS," and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. References to the AAMC Premed Competencies and to application services are used solely for descriptive and educational purposes to help you organize your own experiences. Any competency analysis is PremedJournal's own interpretation and does not represent an official AAMC assessment.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
We do not guarantee that using PremedJournal will improve your medical school application outcomes or result in admission to any program.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDJOURNAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR DAMAGE TO YOUR APPLICATION MATERIALS.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the Account section of the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court.
